INTRODUCTION

The Santa Barbara County Juvenile Justice/Delinquency Prevention Commission inquires into the administration of juvenile justice in the county, inspects publicly operated juvenile institutions in the county, holds hearings using the subpoena power of the juvenile court judge, recommends changes to the provisions of the juvenile court law to any administrator, and publicizes its recommendations.
